This kinda reminded me of a cross between Korn, the Exorsist, and WWE the first time I saw this...
But enough of that. I like what you've done here. The added text really shows the significance of this piece. The lighting is nice.
Also... for the eyes, did you intend to have a tiny bit of the pupils still shine through? Maybe it's just my imagination... but I think I can see something there.
